OUR CHILDREN, OUR TEACHERS – FREE
Children are often our greatest teachers, but what happens if the lesson is too heavy to hold?
I have been asked by many to resurface this novelette in light of the school shooting in the U.S. Don’t buy this book. It’s free for a limited time for all to read. See below for links to direct downloads.
THE EBOOK IS CURRENTLY FREE IN PDF, ePub, or mobi.
For Amazon Kindle, specifically, the free promotion starts midnight 05/29 and will last until midnight 06/02.
This is a project Jack Ketchum and I worked on a few years ago, a foreseeable scenario that scared us more than just about anything. The novelette ended up nominated for a Bram Stoker Award for Superior Achievement in Long Fiction.
Trigger warning / premise: A high school in rural Brenden, Washington is taken hostage by a gathering of unlikely students trying to teach the world a new lesson … a foreshadowing, perhaps, to darker times ahead for the American education system, if gun control is not addressed properly.
If you must have a physical copy of the book, you can order from any of the links below. Any profit made during the free book promotion will go to charity to help protect our children, our teachers.
